AI is helping your best-positioned people most. Make sure it reaches everyone.
New Gallup research shows who gets real value from AI at work, and who is being left out. Here is what owners can do about it.
New research from Gallup shows that AI at work is not reaching everyone equally. Gallup’s American Job Quality Study surveyed 15,482 U.S. employees from January to March 2026. Across all employees, 54% said they have not used AI in their role at all.
The gap, in numbers
Share of each group that uses AI every day or every week:
- 40% of college graduates, versus 17% of workers without a college degree.
- 37% of managers, versus 25% of individual contributors.
Using it is only half the story
Among people who use AI, those who use it daily or weekly report far more benefit than occasional users. 79% of regular users say it helps them finish tasks faster, versus 38% of irregular users. 59% of regular users say it improves the quality of their work, versus 26%.
The people who already use it most are the ones getting the most from it.
What employees are asking for
52% of all employees say they have less influence over how new technology is adopted than they would like. More than half of employees want a bigger say in the tools they work with. People want a tool they can understand and use, and a tool that fits the way they already work is one they’ll reach for.
What Forjance is doing
Forjance’s AI team is already at work inside real businesses, handling the day-to-day: customer replies, reports to the owner, social content and marketing documents. Here is how it reaches the whole team:
- It’s there for everyone. Every employee you choose can log in from their phone or computer, so it reaches past the early adopters.
- Your people work together. Coworkers and the AI team share the same spaces, so the work gets done side by side.
- It speaks your language. It’s set up around your company and the way your people talk, so they just ask.
- You stay in control. It is private to your business. Nothing goes out until a person on your side approves it.
Don’t leave it to chance who benefits from AI in your company. Put an AI team to work for all of your people, on your terms. Forged, not found.
