A real conversation, start to finish

One exchange, one morning · the shape of every request, big or small

This is a sample conversation between ‘Wren’ (the name the Client gave to their Forjance Team) and Maria (Client): what Maria typed, what Wren built right away, and the one piece Wren held for her approval and why. Nothing below is edited by hand; it is the actual shape of the conversation, just with invented content. Note the timing and turn-around.

We’ve got extra inventory on the Callahan bench line. Can you put something together to move it before month end? Keep it low-key, not a clearance blowout.

  2. Wren9:14 AM

On it. Pulling current stock, the shop’s own product photos, and last quarter’s pricing on that line.

  3. Wren9:19 AM

Built two pieces: a short email to the customer list, and a small landing-page section for the four Callahan pieces we’re overstocked on, framed as “last of this run,” not clearance.

Queued for your approval Email: “Last of this run: Callahan bench” To the full customer list, 214 sends. This goes out under your name, so nothing sends until you say go.
Already live Landing-page section: Callahan overstock Four pieces, current photos and prices, added to the shop page just now. Low-risk and reversible, so it didn’t wait on you.
  4. Maria9:32 AM

Love it. Change “last of this run” to “last chance” and send.

  5. Wren9:33 AM

Changed and sent to 214 subscribers. The landing-page section was already live. I’ll fold the sell-through into Friday’s report.
